Typical Website Organizational Hierarchies / Taxonomies

These sample site outlines represent a few typical organizational hierarchies / taxonomies for photographer and artist websites. However, you can submit any taxonomy desired and we’ll be happy to implement it for you. If you’re not sure if your suggested organization is ideal, rest assured that if we feel that your outline might pose potential issues for your visitors, we’ll be sure to tell you before we deploy your submitted outline on your website.

We recommend limiting the number of words used in your navigation. The words used should be short, concise, and accurate. As a good rule of thumb, visitors should never wonder what they will see when they click on any word on your website. Although you may be tempted to use words that are cute or different, avoid those kinds of choices whenever possible.

Please keep your text separate from your site outline. We will identify the text that corresponds to each page based on the headings provided for each section.
