Eating Our Own Dog Food
In 1988, a Microsoft employee sent an email titled “Eating our own Dogfood” that challenged other employees to increase the internal usage of Microsoft’s own products. That phrase has gone on to be a popular way to refer to companies that use their own products. It’s also known as “dogfooding.”
It’s what we do at Good Gallery too. Our employees are also photographers and all have Good Gallery websites.

Our founder is Rob Greer. In addition to managing Good Gallery, he’s also a Houston photographer who runs a busy 6-figure photography studio.
