We automatically create multiple resized versions of every image you upload. This helps ensure that our sites serve images optimized for the exact browser viewport used by each visitor. As part of this process, we create 130 resized versions of every image you upload.

You might be thinking that’s a lot of storage. And it’s true. But we store those additional images outside your allotted hosting storage, and there’s no additional charge for those extra sizes we maintain for you.
